The Marathon Swim 2023 had to be canceled shortly after the start because of too strong wind.
A restart was out of the question because the strong wind (40-65 km/h) continued during the whole day.

All swimmers braved the challenging conditions and finished the swim!
In spite of a difficult preparation for all swimmers, cold water and a windy, cool "summer" day, we are very happy that we had a finisher quota of an amazing 100%.
